Understanding the how and why of pedagogy is fundamental in developing expertise in practice. This session will explore evidence based teaching and learning pedagogy to enable teaching practitioners to reflect on practice and plan personal development with impact, content will include:

  • Exploring models of pedagogy for technical and vocational learning
  • Reflecting on current practice and planning
  • Strategies to enable higher level thinking skill development in learners
  • Effective capture of progress in learning
