Landex is unique as a membership organisation in having as a primary goal, the continuous improvement of all its members through annual peer review, CPD, and the development of outstanding teaching and learning supported by interactive learning materials. In addition, it seeks to represent its members with a wide range of external agencies and funding bodies, as well as securing and delivering funded projects of benefit to its members.
Whilst members vary in the range and depth of curriculum offered, the clear aim is for all providers that display the Landex logo to deliver at least ‘good’ quality further education provision, and a ‘silver’ TEF outcome.
We now wish to recruit a number of additional specialist self-employed contractors to complement our existing team. with specific interest and expertise in at least one of the following:
• Health and Safety (with particular emphasis upon land based industries)
• Residential Care Standards & Safeguarding
• Higher Education
• Further Education & Apprenticeships
As a member of the Landex team you will have a passion for education and a desire to help members ensure that their learners receive the best possible experience.
National Land Based College - Recruitment of Chair
The National Land Based College (NLBC) is an exciting initiative, established in 2015 to Champion Skills Development for Land Based Industries.
NLBC’s Vision is to support land based industries in developing a strong life-long learning culture, which will result in improved productivity and quality across the whole sector.
During its development phase the NLBC was championed and chaired by Lord Curry of Kirkharle, and the trustees now seek to appoint a Chair to lead the next phase in the company’s development. The person sought will have extensive knowledge and experience of one or more land based industries, together with a passion for the sector and rural economy.
